ED Extra-low Dispersion Lens: ED (Extra-low Dispersion) low-dispersion lens is a special glass that reduces the chromatic aberration caused by telephoto by dispersing light of different wavelengths. Different colors of visible light have different lens refractive indices due to different wavelengths, which prevents the light from converging on the same plane. Especially in telescopes with long focal lengths, red and blue light are prone to chromatic aberration due to different wavelengths, greatly reducing the sharpness and vividness of the image. ED lenses greatly reduce the color caused by telephoto by focusing all kinds of wavelengths of light on the same point, making the image sharp and vivid, with strong contrast and restoring the true color.
BAK4 multi-layer prism coating: BAK4 is a glass with a refractive index higher than BK7, which can effectively improve the light transmittance, enhance the observation effect of the telescope, and make the viewing clearer, more vivid and distortion-free.
